I feel the serpents swimming
Ever grinning
With a hunger great

Underneath, they’re brimming
Every shuttered gate

Wrapped around the middle
They belittle
As they sunder fate

Crushing what is brittle
As they wriggle,
Grow, and undulate

About A. P. Christopher

I'm a cynic, a nihilist, and a pessimist. I'm a hermit filling the interior walls of my empty cavern with the words and pictures of a mind adrift in disparity. I also like lifting weights.
