Inefficient

A person hard to truly know
Behind a wall, I’m distant
Though of numbers and statistics
Dare I say I’m quite proficient

A person hard to understand
For guarded well, resistant
To the pokes and prods of people
And so socially deficient

A person hard to keep around
Withdrawn and oft omissive
For the surface given freely
Depth for most is kept as nescient

A person hard to ever love
So dark and pessemistic
Though there’s hope hidden beneath
I fear it’s pale and inefficient
